Product Care
Fur/Leather
When you are done wearing your fur for the season, send it to your local furrier for professional storage. The more time a fur is in cold storage, the longer it will last. To store your fur garments in your closet we suggest you.
-
Choose a cold place. Furs like cold.
-
Hang your fur/leather on a contoured hanger to protect its shape and fit.
-
Avoid leaving your fur/leather hanging in a bright place, the light can oxidize them.
-
Never keep your fur/leather in a plastic bag, it can dry out both fur and leather.
-
Put mothballs in a fabric and place it near the fur.
-
Normally it is OK to wear your fur in snow or light rain.
-
If your fur/leather gets wet, shake it out and hang it to air dry.
-
Keep your fur/leather away from direct heat, such as a radiator, which can cause both fur and leather to dry out.
-
Avoid spraying perfumes and hairsprays on your fur/leather.
-
When you have your furs cleaned, take them only to an Authorized Fur care Specialist or QUALIFIED furrier.
-
Fur knitted items are delicate, we recommend gentle care.
Suede and leather sometimes can be hard to clean. Water is leather's enemy.
-
Do not soak your sandals.
-
Use a damp cloth to clean off any dirt.
-
Rub suede with a clean dry towel, always rub suede in one direction.
-
Remove from suede the stains or marks by gently rubbing them with a clean pencil eraser, or brush your suede with a suede brush, which has soft bristles with wire inserts (most stores sell this in the shoe area for suede shoes).
-
You need to break them in.
Thank you for your purchase!
